Yes, it is quite funny. Over here, it could (with emphasis on possibly could) be the same as when semitrailers stop at the side of a busy highway and put out at the back of their vehicle on the side of the road, for quite a distance, some similar shaped and coloured smallish signs, but with added reflectors on it, to signal a warning that there is a dangerous object ahead.
